This
a new and unique Vedic astrology tool specially developed by www.scientificastrology.com for Vedic astrologers,
astrology students and and for the general public. The Panchangam is a book
which usually deals with astrologically important events of a person’s life.
This book is considered to have importance amongst traditional Hindu families
and in temples.
Panchangam means
FIVE PARTS. There are five important
features in any day:
- Naal
(star that moon occupies)
- Thidhi
- Karanam
- Nithya
Yoga
- Vara
(day of the day)
Our
online Panchang is the electronic version of Panchang. Important features
are:
- All
timing of events are given in IST time or in universal time, not in Nazhika-Vinazhika
(old time format) usually used in printed Panchangams in Malayalam
- Based
on English calendar
- It
is not based on any particular place, instead is calculated based on
longitude & latitude co-ordinates of entry of any place in the world
(traditional printed Panchangams are often based on the particular
co-ordinates of the publisher’s establishment) This difference can be
significant in erroneously shifting the parameters of a Panchang
- The
Lagnarama table provides starting times of each Lagna in a day
